Client Projects Portfolio

I provide hands-on digital implementation support for creative businesses, online educators, organizations, and agency partners. I step into existing websites, content systems, and established workflows to handle the production, updates, publishing, testing, and recurring work that keeps digital projects moving.

I work especially well when the overall direction is already established and you need someone dependable to take ownership of the implementation.

Website Updates, Cleanup & Improvement

Pastel Painters Society of Cape Cod (PPSCC.org)

Platform: WordPress using Avada theme
Work: Website updates · content organization · navigation · reusable layouts

The Project

The Pastel Painters Society of Cape Cod needed updates to promote upcoming workshops and exhibitions, along with improvements that would make important information easier for members and visitors to find.

As new content had been added over time, there were also opportunities to simplify the site’s navigation and create reusable page elements that would make future updates easier to manage.

What I Handled

Bulletin Board Section:
Created a new homepage bulletin board to highlight current and upcoming events in three easy-to-scan sections: What’s Going On, Next Up, and Watch For.

Using an existing Avada component in WordPress, I built the section to be mobile-friendly and easy to update as events change throughout the year. I also incorporated a pastel background suggested by a board member to help the section fit naturally with the existing site.

New Visual Elements on Home Page:
Designed new homepage sections to give upcoming workshops and exhibitions more visual presence while keeping the overall presentation consistent.

These included:

Because several of these events recur each year, I used Avada’s hidden layout functionality to create reusable sections that can be turned on or off, updated, and reused as needed instead of rebuilt each season.

Navigation Cleanup

The board wanted the Donations section to be easier to find, so I recommended adding a dedicated Donate link to the main navigation.

Making room for that link also created an opportunity to simplify another part of the menu. The Galleries dropdown under Exhibitions had grown over the years until it contained links to many past shows and extended nearly the full length of the page.

To preserve access to the archive without keeping such a long dropdown, I created a dedicated Past Galleries page and organized the links by year.

The navigation now only needs links to the current exhibition gallery and the past-gallery archive, making the menu much shorter and easier to use.

The Outcome

The design improvements made the website more visually engaging and easier to navigate, while reusable sections created a simpler, more efficient way to manage future updates.

“Everything looks fantastic! I love how clean the home page looks! You have made a wonderful improvement.”

Visual Artist Wendi C. Smith

Platform: Wix
Work: Website redesign

The Project

Wendi’s existing website had an outdated design and information that no longer reflected her current work. It was also not optimized for mobile, which made it harder to confidently share with potential customers and students.

She wanted a cleaner, more modern website that could highlight her artwork, promote upcoming classes, and give visitors an easy way to learn about prints, cards, and other work available for purchase.

Wendi also had a large archive of past paintings, but limited time to sort through and organize everything before launching the new site.

What I Handled

Because Wendi’s existing site was already built in Wix, I kept the project on that platform to make the transition easier and avoid creating extra work for her with a new system.

To keep the project manageable and get the updated site online sooner, I suggested starting with a smaller gallery featuring a selection of Wendi’s favorite work. Additional pieces could then be added in a later phase as time allowed.

I rebuilt the site as a mobile-friendly one-page website that included:

A brief introduction to Wendi and her work

A curated portfolio slider featuring selected artwork

Standard pricing placed below the gallery for easy reference

Information about prints and cards available for purchase

Updated graphics and visual elements

Contact options for purchasing artwork or asking questions

Easy-to-update sections for the venues where Wendi teaches classes

The class sections were designed so they could be quickly updated as new teaching dates and locations were added.

A contact form for general inquiries

The Outcome

Wendi now has a cleaner, more current website she can confidently share with potential customers and students.

By starting with a focused selection of artwork rather than trying to organize her entire archive at once, we were able to get the new site online more quickly while leaving room to expand the gallery later.

Keeping the site in Wix also meant Wendi could continue working in a familiar platform, while the new structure made it easier to keep class information, artwork availability, and purchase details up to date over time.

Digital Content Implementation

Jamie Ridler Studios

Platforms: WordPress, Kit, Zoom, SendOwl, Google Calendar
Work: Launch implementation for recurring live Zoom classes and digital products

The Work

Jamie Ridler Studios regularly launched live classes and digital offerings using an established set of systems and standard operating procedures.

My role was to follow those processes consistently across multiple launches, making sure the purchasing, registration, email, scheduling, and access pieces were all set up correctly before enrollment opened.

As I became familiar with the workflow, I also looked for ways to make the process clearer and easier for both Jamie and her students.

What I Handled

For each launch, I followed the existing SOPs and implemented the digital setup across WordPress, Kit, SendOwl, Zoom, and Google Calendar.

This included:

Updating Wordpress sales pages with current dates, pricing and class details

Setting up class forms, tags, and autoresponders in Kit

Configuring payment details in SendOwl and connecting purchases to the correct Kit follow-up

Setting up the class sessions in Zoom and generating the links students would use to attend

Creating a Google Calendar with the full class schedule and adding the Zoom links so students had one place to find all upcoming sessions

Adding the calendar link to the student autoresponder

Creating test purchase codes and completing the full enrollment process before launch to confirm that payment, email delivery, and access information were working correctly

The Google Calendar was one process improvement I suggested after working through the launch workflow. Instead of relying on students to keep track of individual dates and links, the calendar gave them an ongoing reference point for the full class schedule.

The Outcome

Jamie was able to hand off an established launch process and trust that I would reliably repeat it for each new class or digital offering.

That consistency saved her time on the setup and testing required for every launch, giving her more space to focus on marketing the current offering and developing future classes and products.

Because I became familiar with the workflow over time, I was also able to suggest practical improvements, like the shared Google Calendar, that made the process easier to manage for both Jamie and her students.

"Having Amy’s support has literally changed my life! Wonderful things are in the works, in part, because Amy has lifted so much off my shoulders. Her hard work has allowed me to get back to what I’m best at - creating transformational work to help bring my clients’ creativity to life!”

Pastel Artist Betsy Payne Cook

Platform: YouTube
Work: Video trimming & editing for sketchbook series, uploading and organizing content

The Project

Betsy created a four-part live sketching series on Zoom to give her pastel students a deeper understanding of sketching techniques.

She wanted the class replays to be easy for current students to access after each session, while also creating a finished video series that could be shared with future students who had not attended the live classes.

What I Handled

Because the sketching series was different from Betsy’s regular Open Studio and Pastel Paint Along classes, I created a new opening graphic and intro style that gave the series its own identity while still feeling consistent with her existing brand.

I designed a coordinated opening graphic for the four-part series, with each video clearly labeled Class 1, Class 2, and so on, so students could easily follow the lessons in order.

We also selected a different music track for the series to help distinguish it from Betsy’s regular monthly class videos.

For each class replay, I:

Updated the opening graphic with the correct class number

Trimmed the beginning and ending of the recording

Removed sections Betsy identified, such as audio issues, student interruptions, or glitches from the live session

Added the animated intro graphic and music

Uploaded and organized the finished videos in YouTube

Created a private playlist so Betsy could share one link and students could access the full series in order

The Outcome

Betsy ended up with a polished, cohesive four-part video series that matched her brand and was easy for students to navigate.

The private YouTube playlist gave current students a simple way to revisit the material, while also turning the original live classes into a reusable digital resource that could be shared with future paying students.

Ongoing Digital Implementation Support

Jamie Ridler Studios

Platforms: Kit, Zoom, Vimeo, Asana
Work: 8-Week digital class delivery

The Work

Jamie was running concurrent 8-week live classes on Zoom and wanted to hand off the work that happened before and after each session.

She needed reliable support with video editing, replay delivery, and the personalized emails sent to students so she could step away after teaching, recharge, and spend more time on other parts of the business.

What I Handled

After reviewing Jamie’s established SOPs, I took over the recurring delivery process for the classes beyond the teaching itself.

That meant Jamie could finish a live session knowing the replay and follow-up materials would be handled promptly and consistently.

My support included:

Trimming and editing each class recording

Adding the established intro, music, and ending

Uploading videos to Vimeo with clear naming for each class season and session

Building personalized replay emails in Kit

Including Jamie’s notes from the live session, links mentioned during class, and an ongoing archive of previous class replays

Updating workflow in Asana each week

Each 8-week class also ended with a Showcase featuring the students’ work.

For those sessions, Jamie wanted two replay versions: one showing each student in spotlight view so they could rewatch their own presentation, and another showing the gallery view so they could see the group’s reactions.

These Showcase videos required downloading multiple Zoom recordings and editing them together so Jamie’s introduction, student presentations, group reactions, and closing conversation flowed smoothly.

The Outcome

Jamie was able to hand off a recurring class-delivery process and trust that the videos, replay emails, links, and archives would be handled consistently from week to week.

That reduced the amount of post-class work she needed to manage herself and gave her more time to recharge, focus on other areas of the business, and prepare for future offerings.

Pastel Artist Betsy Payne Cook

Platform: YouTube
Work: Video trimming & editing monthly class videos, uploading and organizing content

The Work

Pastel artist Betsy Payne Cook teaches two classes each month: a free Open Studio session and a paid Pastel Paint Along class that goes more in-depth into specific pastel techniques.

Betsy wanted the class replays to have a polished, professional look that felt consistent across both series while still making it easy to distinguish one from the other.

I worked with her to create reusable intro graphics for each class type, using a similar overall style with different wording. Each video also features a unique image connected to that month’s lesson.

What I Handled

Open Studio - Public Examples
(Click a video to see the class)

Pastel Paint Along - Private Class Examples
(Private paid class content — visual examples shown with permission / content not linked publicly)

I created reusable graphics that can be updated each month by swapping in a new image, topic, date, and class details.

We also chose music that could be used consistently at the beginning of each video.

For each class replay, I:

Trim and edit the class recordings

Update the intro graphic with the current lesson image, topic, and date

Add the established music, intro, and ending

Remove disruptions or technical issues from the live recording when needed

Upload the finished videos to Betsy’s YouTube account

Add the appropriate video description and access details

Add each new Open Studio video to the ongoing public playlist

Update the Pastel Paint Along video description with links to previous paid classes

Include a call to action for viewers who may want to purchase access to earlier Pastel Paint Along recordings

The Outcome

Betsy is able to hand off the recurring production work for her monthly class videos and trust that each replay will be edited, branded, uploaded, and organized consistently.

Over time, the videos have become a cohesive library of teaching content that is easy for students to access and gives Betsy a polished, professional way to share and continue using her class recordings beyond the live sessions.

"Amy has been a tremendous help behind the scenes editing my teaching videos with care and attention to detail. I love how polished and professional my YouTube videos look now. I truly appreciate her expertise.”
